Andy Mill – Millhouse Podcast, legendary Tarpon Fisherman, US Ski Team & More

98 Flyer

Andy Mill has led an extraordinary life and this is an extraordinary podcast.  His time as an Olympic downhill skier, his marriage, and unfortunate divorce from tennis star, Chris Everett Llyod and his dominance in the most revered tarpon tournaments is all in here.  It was a very easy conversation and Andy’s stories kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.  Being a past ski instructor, I was riveted by his journey from the weekend, Nastar races to the winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria and Lake Placid, New York.

You will learn quickly that Andy is an open book. In addition to some of his successes, he does not hold back on sharing some of personal heartbreaks, and failures as for him, it’s all part of the journey to who he is today.

As we moved into the fishing and the tarpon portions of the podcast, I was blown away and so thankful for the teaching and instruction Andy offers about becoming a better tarpon fisherman.  When you think about truest, professional tarpon fly anglers you think of names like Stu Apte, Lefty Kreh and Andy Mill. His knowledge is the reference material for anyone who wants to improve their saltwater fly fishing skills.

The conversation flowed nicely and not surprising as Andy, along with his son Nicky, produce and conduct their own podcast, The Millhouse Podcast.
