Information

  • This trip is going to be legendary
  • Scouting new water
  • Exploring rivers and fjords of Greenland
  • Opportunity for both silver (fresh) Char as well as colored up Char
  • Expected fish size: 2-10 lb
  • Also fishing for Lake Char at the lakes at the top of the rivers

The are situated, overlooking fjords of Davis Strait, at the mouth of excellent char rivers. Clients are rotated to new rivers each week to preserve the sport fishery for everyone to enjoy. Arctic char winter in these rivers and lake systems returning to the ocean once ice is out. Starting in summer the char re-enter the rivers and migrate up their spawning grounds in large numbers; meanwhile the surrounding highlands abound with game; caribou, ptarmigan, Arctic fox and hare. The fjords are also home to whales, seals, king eider ducks and below its surface are nature’s bounty of sweet cold water shrimp, snow-crab and blue mussels all of which will satisfy our hungry appetites!
