- Fly Fishing Journeys did a media and exploratory trip in May 22′ and loved it so much we decided to bring a group back in ’23. These photos and many others were taken during that trip
- This is a five river/lake experience where you will get a complete overview of the best northern Iceland fishing has to offer.
- The group will be 8 total and there are only 5 spots left
- In addition to the great fishing, we’ll visit many great places and sites including:
- Goðafoss Waterfall
- Mývatn Geothermal Area
- Langness Peninsula
- Ásbyrgi Canyon
- Lodging
- 4 night at the Mýrarkvísl River Lodge
- 2 Night at Ytra Lón Guest House on the Langness Peninsula
- Last night in Akureyri (Hotel Kea) not included in price

Information
- Our trip begins in Akureyri on June 2 at approx. 12pm
- If you drink alcohol we recommend buying it at the duty-free store at the airport as prices are much lower than in the rest of the country.
- If you have any food allergies, dietary requirements, or requests please notify us and we will do our best to accommodate them.
- All used fishing equipment needs to be sterilized by customs before entering the country. The price for this process varies based on the amount of gear your bringing but ranges between 30-70$.
- At the lodge, there is a small fly shop with proven fly patterns as well as leaders, tippets, etc.
- Gear can be provided for you if you want to leave some or all of your equipment at home. Waders, wading boots fly rods, reels, etc. are available for a small rental fee. Please let us know beforehand so proper planning can be made.
- Included:
- Fishing Permits on for all rivers and lakes
