ITINERARY
This program allow the angler to experience and fish a large part of central Patagonia, from Cholila, Trevelin and Los Alerces National Park to as far south as Rio Pico area combining the camper truck glamping with first class lodges.
Arrive at the airport in Esquel, where our staff will be on hand to facilitate your transfer to the lodge. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. A great time to get unpacked, take some photos, organize your gear and rest a bit before a wonderful first evening's dinner.
Meals Included: Dinner Accommodations: Glamping on the river with the camper truck.During the next three days, you will fish many of the waters accessible from the estancia, most of them steps away from your bed like Rio Pico, Rio Nilson, Rio Pampas, and some of the best spring creeks of the area, all of them wading. If you would like to go after true trophy fish, we have small lakes like Lago 3, Lago 2, Lago 1 and many others.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodations: Glamping on the river with the camper truck.After an early breakfast, we’ll drive north to Lake Engano fishing for trophy Brook Trout. You will fish the better part of the day and then begin our journey to Sendero Lodge where another wonderful dinner will be waiting.

We never take you somewhere we haven’t been so all trips are vetted to make sure every trip we offer will rise to the level of a world-class experience.
- Communication - Group members are kept informed with detailed emails. The team also interacts with each other via text and email messaging. We typically see great new friendships formed from out group trips.
- World Class Outfitters – With lots of outfitters to choose from, know your experience is in the hands of the best in the world. We have had the opportunity to fish with many outfitters around the world. We hand select only the finest to participate in these curated travel trips. - Small Group – Our groups will usually run no more than 6-8 people.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Patagonia is stunningly beautiful. If you enjoy taking pictures, have your camera ready because there are amazing views everywhere.
- A major expectation when traveling to Patagonia is the travel itself. Depending on where you are coming from, it’s not a short trip to get there. From many parts of the states, it could be up to 24 hours of travel to get to Esquel (where we meet the outfitter). Enjoy the trip (or bite the bullet) and know, once you get there, it will all be worth it.
- This trip is a combination of wading and floating in NRS style rafts. If you prefer a 100% wading trip, connect with us and we can look at Patagonia trips that are 100% walk and wade.
- This trip includes some glamping with quality cots, mattresses, and tents along with the amazing Mercedes Camper Truck set up. The benefit is you are feet from the river and in the heart of the best fishing in Patagonia. If you don’t care for camping, but still want an amazing Patagonian experience, drop us a message and we can get you dialed into a 100% lodging experience.
- Finally, expect to catch amazing fish on big dry flies. This is Patagonia after all!
