The Mayfly Project & Yeti Team up to Kick Plastic

This summer, The Mayfly Project and YETI have teamed up on an important mission–to kick plastic water bottles from their projects. YETI has donated hundreds of water bottles with The Mayfly Project logo etched on them, for kids across the country to not only re-use during their projects, but to keep!

The Mayfly Project is serving in 63 locations this season, and have the unique opportunity to not only bring the healing sport of fly fishing to kids who need it most, but to also encourage them to be conservation-minded. Each of their projects has a Conservation Mentor, in charge of teaching The 3 C’s: Clean Waters, Catch and Release, and Contamination. By adding these re-usable water bottles to the projects, they are not only talking the talk, but walking the walk.

With 315 The Mayfly Project outings this year, they estimate that they have kept 7,500 water bottles from landfills by providing quality re-usable water bottles. Shout out to YETI for caring about The Mayfly Project kids and about kicking plastic!
