NorCal Women on the Fly is hosting the first annual virtual Women’s Fly Fishing tournament benefitting Cast Hope and The Mayfly Project! The tournament is a remote event for all women across the United States to chase trout, bass, steelhead and salmon while creating community through a shared passion. There will be a prize for the freshwater winners in each category below.
Fly Fishing Tournament Rules and Cost:
– Tournament will take place October 1-31, 2022.
– Women can participate form anywhere in the United States.
– No fishing on private waters.
– Entry fee is $25.00. Fees can be sent by Venmo to @norcalWOTF.
– To register, send an email to temmaroby@gmail.com with your name, email and phone number.
– Anglers will be expected to catch, measure, photograph and safely release each fish caught.
Fly Fishing Tournament categories:
– The longest fish,
– The most points (one point per inch),
– And the most variety of species caught
